Friendship Card

This month our friendship cards were made for the men because we don't want our men to be left out, so my friendship card was made for Peter in Australia, the image is from my stash and was perfect for Peter as I know he likes fishing. I have stitched Ann's Paper Art Pattern No a670 available from Ann's Webshop. I have used Gutermann thread No's 1128, 1170 and 1174.

Christmas Card

 This card I made was published in the  Hobbyjournaal 150,  stitched using Ann's Paper Art New Pattern, I have used Gutermann thread No's 567 Gold, 630 Green and 1263 Dark Red, the die is Precious Marieke PM10102 Christmas Tree, I have used Card Deco Linen Cardstock for this card and added some Hobbydots and a peel off sticker to finish.

Friendship Card

This is my August friendship card I made for Sharon, I have stitched the pattern from Ann's Paper Art Stitching Stencil AND002 and have used Precious Marieke Flower Border Die PM0093, the threads are Gutermann No's 1238 Orange, 1032 Purple, 1234 Black and also Mettler No 5833 Green.

Friendship Card

I made this card for Annalie for our July Friendship card, I have stitched Ann's Paper Art pattern No a334, I decided I wanted to make an all pink and white card so I have stitched with Gutermann thread No 1108, the die is Creative Expressions Frames And Tags-Peony Diamond CED4329, I added Creative Expressions Adhesive Pearls Strip around the edge of the card added an organza bow and finished with a few more pearls.

Birthday Card for my Son

I created this birthday card for my Son, I don't know the designer of the pattern as it was in a folder full of patterns that was given to me some time ago and had no name on it. The die is from Creative Expressions Striplet-Bevelled Glass.

Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my dear friend Sharon, the pattern is by Sjaak van Went No CO-FP-005, available to buy from Ann's Paper Art Webshop I chose to stitch in shades of blue for this one so I have used Gutermann thread No's 1122 and 1029,  The Die is Creative Expressions Frames and Tags-Gillian, I have used blue Mirri card behind the die cut and added white pearls to finish.

Friendship Card

I really enjoyed creating this card for my dear friend Frances, I have stitched the corners from Ann's Paper Art pattern No a125 available to buy from Ann's Paper Art Webshop I decided I wanted to stitch with different shades of purple so I have used Gutermann thread No's 1032 and 1193. The die is Creative Expressions Frames and Tags-Olivia CED4324, I have added Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels-Diamond Snow to add a little sparkle and finished with some pearls.

Birthday card for my Uncle

I made this card for my Uncle's birthday, I have stitched a pattern by Sjaak van Went available to buy from Ann's Paper Art Webshop I enlarged the pattern slightly so that the decoupage image would fit perfectly in the centre, the image is from Cutting Sheet Marianne Design Birds 1 VK9553 also available to buy from Ann's Paper Art Webshop, I have used Gutermann thread No's 1076, 1029,1124 and Mettler thread No 5833, this is a 7x7 card.

Birthday Card

I made this 8x8 birthday card for my daughter, I have stitched Karin's Creations pattern No KC175 and combined it with Creative Expressions Striplet-Tethered Hearts Die, the threads are Gutermann No's 1055, 1128,630,1238,1193 and 1032, I have used Purple Mirri card and Centura Pearl  Snow White with a hint of silver Pearlescent cardstock, I added some purple pearls and an orange pearl along with some peel off stickers to finish.

Birthday card for my Aunt, I have stitched Karin's Creations pattern No KC168, Gutermann thread No's 1032-Purple, 1193-Lilac, 1177- Dark Green, 1104- Light Green, 567- Gold, 1055 Light Brown and 1128 Brown, the decoupage image is from Marianne Design Mattie's Summer Flowers 1 MB0152.

Birthday card for a friend, for this card I have stitched Ann's Paper Art pattern No a131, I have stitched with Gutermann threads colours 1193-lilac, 1238-orange, 1128- light brown, 1108-pink and also Mettler thread 5833- green, the  cat Die is Marianne design LRO432.

This friendship card was made for Lucy, I have stitched Ann's Paper Art Pattern No a131 available from Ann's Webshop and combined it with a Tonic Studios Dimensions Die Pretty Piazza Window Box Die Set, I used the smallest die in the set to create this card, the cardstock is Centura Pearl, Cherry colour from Crafters Companion.

January Friendship Card

I very nearly forgot to add this card, it was made for Sharon in Australia, my first friendship card of 2017, I have stitched  a pattern by Sjaak Van Went pattern No CO-PF-001 available from
Ann's Paper Art Webshop, the image is from  Reddy  3D Die Cut decoupage sheet Art-Nr 817015 which I had in my stash, I added a few pearls to finish the card.

I made this card for a dear friends husbands Birthday, I have stitched a pattern by Sjaak Van Went pattern No CO-2016-002 available from Ann's Paper Art Webshop. The thread numbers are Gutermann 1170 brown, 1074 blue, 508 copper and 1055 Ecru.

Happy New Year Everyone

Well I know it's the middle of February so I'm a little late with my new year wishes, but as I haven't been able to sit at the PC for a while after suffering back problems it's better late than never 😊. I wasn't able to do any crafting for a few months but am gradually getting back into doing some stitching albeit slowly as I still have problems with sitting for too long, I have really missed my stitching a lot and think I must have been born with a needle in my hand,  I will upload the few cards I have made so far this year very soon so watch this space.
